May 19, 2007      The Little Neck-Douglaston Community Ambulance Corps hosts the "Meet YOUR Lifesavers" Open House.  Local politicians, including state Senator Frank Padavan, attend.

March 19, 2007      The Little Neck-Douglaston Community Ambulance Corps sadly announces the passing of Rev. Dr. Steven R. Everett, who served as one of our chaplains.

May 18, 2003    The Little Neck-Douglaston Community Ambulance Corps has recently purchased a new ambulance.  The new ambulance, our 16th, will be dedicated on Sunday, May 18th at 1:00pm.  Ceremonies will be held out our headquarters.  Prior to the dedication, there will be a motorcade through our community beginning at noon.

May 19, 2002       The Little Neck-Douglaston Community Ambulance Youth Corps is sponsored a Pasta Dinner at the Community Church of Little Neck.  The event was a success!

March 26, 2002    The Little Neck-Douglaston Community Ambulance Corps celebrates the 2 year anniversary of the launching of this website!

October 7, 2001    The Little Neck-Douglaston Community Ambulance Corps attends the E.M.S. Memorial Service at Forest Park in Queens.  Politicians present New York City volunteer ambulance corps with a check for $925,000, which will be divided up and used for equipment replacements or upgrades.

October 5, 2001    The Little Neck-Douglaston Community Ambulance Corps teams up with Jamaica Estates-Holliswood-South Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corps to provide stand-by coverage at Ground Zero.  Click below for more information:

May 26, 2001        In celebration of National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, the Little Neck-Douglaston Community Ambulance Corps held a "Meet The Lifesavers" Open House.  The event was a complete success!

March 26, 2001    The Little Neck-Douglaston Community Ambulance Corps celebrates the 1 year anniversary of the launching of this website!

March 16, 2001    We have been added to www.volunteermatch.com.  We're always looking for new volunteers to serve as riding members or dispatchers!

January 10 & 17, 2001    An Adult CPR course is being offered at our headquarters.  The cost is $25.  You must attend both nights for certification.  The class time is 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  To sign up, call 229-0400 between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

December 26, 2000    Congratulations to Corps Chaplain, Father John Gribbon, who recently celebrated 50 years of Priesthood.  Pictures can be found at www.lndambulance.org/gribbon.htm

August 1, 2000  We participated in the "National Night Out Against Crime" with the NYPD 111th Precinct and local politicians.  The ceremony was held at Douglaston Plaza.

May 29, 2000   We proudly marched in the 72nd annual Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade.  Pictures from the parade can be found at www.lndambulance.org/memorialday2000.htm

May 20, 2000    Two of our members participated in the PVS Ambulance Driver Training Program at the Lime Rock Race Track in Connecticut.  They were selected  to participate in the program and were given a voucher from PVS to cover the cost of the program.

April 12, 2000  The Times-Ledger (Little Neck Ledger) website has added a webpage for us in their "Community Websites" section.  Click on "Community Websites" and then click on "Little Neck-Douglaston Community Ambulance Corps" under "Non-Profit Organizations."
